![]() Lynette Gallagher, PA, grew up in Salem, Oregon, graduating from North Salem High School in 1990.
From 1996 to 1999 Lynette served in the U.S. Army as a Medical Specialist, and it was during this time that she discovered her passion for health care. Lynette was deployed to Bosnia for 11 months, participating in Operation Joint Endeavor, where she supported multiple physicians providing medical care to soldiers, and spent her free time volunteering to provide medical attention to civilians in the area. Lynette moved to West Virginia in 2000 to attend Alderson-Broaddus College, successfully earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration in 2004 and later a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2005. The majority of Lynette’s clinical rotations were done in rural West Virginia and the Louis A. Johnson V.A. Medical Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia. After returning to Salem, Oregon, Lynette joined Cascade Cardiology in April 2008, where she gained priceless knowledge in cardiac care for all patients. In May 2010 she turned her attention back to family practice and joined Salem Family Physicians. Lynette enjoys spending time with her daughter Megan and son Morgan, whether that is playing at home, exploring the coast or attending functions at Salem First Free Methodist Church. |
